Library Corner: "Book or treat" at RR Library

By Michael Dawber
Librarian/CEO

This Halloween, kids can Book-or-Treat at the Rainy River Public Library!
On October 31, the library will be giving away new books for your family.
We have more than 20 titles in our treasure chest.
You’ll find Big Nate, Dear Dumb Diary and great picture books by Robert Munsch.
Kids under can visit the library from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wear your scariest, creepiest, most fabulous Halloween costumes!
Every ghost, goblin, superhero, and princess gets to choose a free book to keep.
Children aged eight and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
The Library Board would like to thank Rose Lalli for her support of our Book-or-Treat program.
Drop by and see us on Halloween!
Don’t forget: when we’re not Book-or-Treating, we’re giving free computer lessons for all ages.
Beginners are welcome. Lessons are 30 minutes.
Our internet access assistant Sarah will have one-on-one training all winter.
To book a lesson, email rainycap@gmail.com. You can also call us at 807.852.3375.
You can see Sarah’s lesson schedule at our website, rainyriverlibrary.com.
We’re also on Facebook at facebook.com/pages/Rainy-River-Public-Library.
