During the early morning hours of September 12th 2013, someone left a threatening note, and a duffle bag, at the back door of the Northern Lights Credit Union in Fort Frances. The note demanded that money be placed in the bag, and also included the threat that the retaliation towards the bank, schools, and other businesses would be carried out if the demand for money was ignored.
