Rainy River Town Council held their regular monthly meeting a day late last week due to the Remembrance Day holiday.
All four councillors and the mayor were present and held a vote on whether to return council to six councillors and a mayor. Once the motion was read there was no discussion for or against it. All four councillors, Larry Armstrong, Gord Armstrong, Susan Carpenter and Ashley Stamler voted to approve the added councillors. It will take effect next fall when municipal elections are held.
