Fair board needs two more members

The Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society (Fairboard) held their annual meeting recently
Elections were held –
Emily Watson – President
James Gibson – 1st Vice President
Jan Halverson – 2nd Vice President
Jan Judson – Secretary /Treasurer

The board is still looking for 2 directors for a 1 year term and 5 directors for a 2 year term. PLEASE consider sitting on this board! Without this group we would not have our Fall Fair. They meet once a month and of course you would likely sit on a committee to organize and pull things together for the Fair. The board also brings in other volunteers for the Fair so the entire weekend is just sitting on the boards shoulders. Volunteering in your community is an extremely worthwhile. The feeling of satisfaction and a “job well done” is something everyone should experience!
If you have any questions please feel free to contact any of the current directors. If you know of anyone who might be interested please take the time to mention it – this is an important, historical event that takes place in our district and we wouldn’t want it to not happen just because we won’t take the time to volunteer to make it happen!
