Barbara Jean Sayers, 75

On Sunday November 9, 2014 at the Rainy River Hospital, Barbara Jean Sayers, 75 of Rainy River, Ontario passed away peacefully.
Barb was born in Kearney, Nebraska on November 25, 1938 to Glen and Violet Gladson. She was united in marriage to Donald Sayers and together they resided in Rainy River for many years.
Barb worked at various jobs including house keeping and cooking at local camps. She also worked for many years at the Rainy River Royal Canadian Legion and as well a grounds keeper for the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Rainy River. She loved to garden and will be fondly remembered for her love for animals and her pets.
Barb will be greatly missed by her siblings Michael (Karen) and Pat all of Baudette, MN, Pam (John) of California and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Glen and Violet, her husband Donald, and siblings Glenna Marie and Eugene.
A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be held on December 6, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. from the Lake of The Woods Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church (118 4th Ave, NW, Baudette, MN). Elder Dan Lesch officiating.

Today God gained a new beautiful Angel with the sweetest and most kind-hearted soul. You can make anyone laugh and feel welcomed. You will forever be in my heart. I am so sorry I wasn't around for your last days. I know you are in God's hands now. Rest in Peace Aunt Barbara. You will be missed forever and always. Love Lakeeya Dean.
