Queen’s Park - Armed with fresh evidence from the Ontario Energy Board showing that Ontario consumers were getting ripped off by electricity retailers, Kenora-Rainy River NDP MPP Sarah Campbell successfully convinced the Legislature to pass Bill 111, Ending Predatory Electricity Retailing Act, to phase out fixed rate electricity contracts for residential consumers in Ontario.
