Town to save money with LED street lamps

If you looked up lately, you may have seen the new light!
Caron Electric of Fort Frances has been busy replacing Rainy River’s street lights with new LED energy efficient lights.
Rainy River Town Clerk Vel Vogan said, “Based on the calculations provided to us we are expecting the saving on electricity and maintenance to cover the cost of the street light installation (with the exception of 4th street within a three year period.”
