Citizens gather to celebrate Queen becoming the longest reigning monarch

Last Wednesday at exactly 12:30 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time, Queen Elizabeth II became the longest reigning British Monarch!
To mark the occasion municipalities across Canada were encouraged to hold a celebration of the Queen’s reign in unison. The Town of Rainy River did just that, inviting the public to a service at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 54.
