Lawrence Hubert Trenchard, 58

Lawrence Hubert Trenchard
It is with deep sadness that the Trenchard Family announces the passing of Lawrence on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Rainy River Health Care Center.
Lawrence was predeceased by his father George in 2006. He will be sadly missed by his mother Adaline and his siblings: Ken (Melanie) of Sleeman, Betty (Ted) Millar of Belize, Diane (Ollie) Orobko, Sandy (Kevin) Markevich and Christine (Jeremy) Stewart of Winnipeg, and Wendy (Noel) L'Heureux of Ste. Rose Du Lac, along with his 15 nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his many Christian Brothers and Sisters.
Lawrence was born in Emo, Ontario; July 14, 1958, the oldest of George and Adaline Trenchard's seven children. The family farm in Sleeman, Ontario was home all his life.
Lawrence attended Fort Kinhaven School in Fort Frances from 1968 to 1976. He then worked at Arc Industries until his retirement.
Lawrence enjoyed the simple things in life. He had a great sense of humour and loved to play practical jokes on everyone. He loved collecting autographs from people, his daily snowmobile rides each winter, and time spent playing with his nieces and nephews. He especially loved going to the meetings at the Kingdom Hall and visiting with all the friends there.
On behalf of the family we would like to first offer a special thanks to Debbie Lundgren for her care and friendship for the past 9 years as his health care worker. Also to Dr. Singleton, and the staff of the Rainy River Hospital and Long Term Health Care Home, thank you for all your care, compassion and the very special help and support for Lawrence and his family, especially during his last few days with us. Thank you too to all who extended their love, compassion and support at this difficult time.
Lawrence's memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 210 South East 4th Ave., Baudette, MN (date pending). More details are at Please sign the book of memories and share stories and/or pictures.
