Forcing bulbs indoors

This is the time of the year that the nurseries are full of spring bulbs. Did you know they are not just for planting outdoors? You can force bulbs, like hyacinths, daffodil and narcissus species, tulips and other bulbs to grow and flower indoors. If you start now you can enjoy blooming flowers, inside as early as the Christmas season or throughout the winter.
