Water levels fifth highest on record for this time of year

The Lake of the Woods Control Board advises that water levels and flows are very high for this time of year throughout the Winnipeg River drainage basin. Rainfall in the Winnipeg River Basin was the highest on record for the first three weeks of November for areas upstream of Rainy River, the 5th highest on record in the local Lake of the Woods watershed, and the second highest on record in the Lac Seul basin.
