John George Walter King
Tragically the family announces the sudden passing of John King 38, of Lake of The Woods Twp, ON on July 17, 2016 in Rainy River, ON.
John was born in Fort Frances, ON on September 12, 1977 to Clarence ‘Mike” and Margaret King.
John..John had a unique way of showing his love to his family always proud of his name with a hardy laugh, ready to help anyone at anytime, his Family and Friends always came first. He would put his own life on hold to give a helping hand. He is truly going to be missed as he loved people unconditionally and it was something he was trying to teach us all. John was employed at many different places one in particular was Marvin Windows he liked the freedom to chat with many different people, John loved working outdoors as he had a thing for the beauties of nature, he was drawn to Lake of the Woods and enjoyed all the different employment opportunities. John really enjoyed hunting and especially fishing those were his most joyful moments of laughing and joking with Family and Friends. In the off Season he liked picking berries and Pine cones with special friends even tho John was always on his search for something better at one point he turned over rocks and scraped hills all over the country side on his search for Gold little did John know that he was already rich, rich with love for Family and Friends.
John will be lovingly remembered by his parents Margaret and Mike, brother Ashley, nieces Laci and Gianna, grandparents Geraldine Byington (Thompson) Flora King, aunts and uncles, Joann Crawley, John and Rita Thompson, Richard Drennan, Bill (Lorraine) Thompson, Elaine and Jack Unrau, Edwin (Kathy) King, Barbara and Harry Sawchuck, Darlene Mathews, Colleen King, Raymond and Leona King, Roxanne and Roger Wilcott and numerous close cousins and some very special great Uncles, Aunts and dear friends.
John was predeceased by his infant twin Brother, infant cousin (Nathan Thompson), Grandfather Clarence King (sr), cousin Christopher (Bradley) Thompson, Grandfather George Thompson, aunt Tina Thompson (Drennan), step Grandfather Terry Byington, uncle Bob Crawley, uncle Greg Mathews
A time of fellowship, remembrance and mental health awareness will be held on Friday July 29, 2016 from 1-4pm at the Bergland Hall. Interment will take place at McInnes Creek Chapel.
