Emo hockey team wins Wayne Gretzky award

In November the team made an application to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation/Canadian Hockey Foundation Launch The “Future Team Canada” Program.
Not thinking they would ever hear from them again they were ecstatic when they did.
The Emo Thunderbolts won some very awesome stuff.
So Congratulation to the Emo Thunderbolts of Emo Ontario. They were selected as 1 of 13 teams across Canada, as winners of the “Future Team Canada” recognition program.
Hockey Canada partnered with Wayne Gretzky Foundation and the Canadian Hockey Foundation to launch the third ever ŒFuture Team Canada‚ program that rewards and recognizes thirteen minor hockey teams across Canada for the amount of heart they show rather than the amount of games they win.
Each player on the Thunderbolts team will receive:
-Team Canada jersey and hockey bags bearing the Wayne Gretzky Foundation and Hockey Canada logo.
-Gloves
-Sticks
The team will receive $1,000.to be used for team development.
-Coaching Volunteer Recognition Package ( gloves, stick, bag, Coaching Club Membership, Development DVD‚s and More)
