Is it the March rush already?
Wow!
What an amazingly busy week!
Traditionally January is a very quiet month and the first two weeks were no exception to that rule.
However, last week I felt like I was in mid March when all the winter activities wind down and I am running from event to another.
Thinking it was going to be a slow week I booked a feature story on the new day care centre in Rainy River. Spent two segments of a day working on the story.
Well outside those segments the week took on a life of its own.
There was drama at the school, sports at the arena, the annual cattlemens meeting, the Alzheimers Dinner and then the angler who was upset with the RRWT committee.
The cattlemen’s meeting turned into several stories all by itself.
So today (Monday) was a bit frantic trying to get everything written and everything into the paper.
It was like having three normal weeks crammed into one.
But thanks to my staff deflecting office visitors and phone calls, I managed to get it all done and the paper out... or maybe I didn’t... well I guess if you are reading this I succeeded!
–Until then,
Ken
