Man charged with assault

The OPP were called to 218 3rd St. in Rainy River Saturday morning in response to a domestic dispute.
Sheldon Earl Quill, 36, of no fixed address, was charged with assault.
He was hospitalized but later released into police custody.
His first court appearance was Monday. There was no word of the outcome at press time.
The police secured the scene until a search warrant could be obtained and executed at the address listed above.
