The Rainy River Volunteer Fire Dept. was called out last Monday evening to a trailer house on Tower Road. A resident passing by the home of Blanche Bernier noticed smoke coming from it and called it it. Firemen were on the scene quickly and managed to get the fire out in a very short time. It was thought to be electrical in nature. Mrs. Bernier was not home at the time of the fire.
