Legion ladies have busy month

Legion Ladies Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on May 9th with President Hazel Tullett presiding. There were 16 members in attendance. The minutes from the April meeting were not available as our secretary was away.
On Sat. May 12th a birthday party was held for Bill Olson who celebrated his 80th. They had a good turn out for it.
A Mother’s Day Brunch was held on May 13th which was a success.
June 4th the ladies will be hosting an athletic banquet for approx. 100 people. Lasagna, caesar salad and garlic toast is on the menu with a light dessert.
On June 9th is the high school prom supper for about 64 students and staff. They will be having a turkey supper with all the trimmings. We hope you will all be successful in your endevours and good luck to each and everyone of you.
Anyone wishing to donate articles for care packages to be sent to our troops overseas may drop them of at the Legion near the end of the month. There is a list of items which can be donated at several locations.
Our next meeting is on June 13 and we will be having a pot luck supper at 6:00 pm.
It will be our last meeting until Sept. 12th. See you all then and have a great summer holiday.
