Bear with us while we are short staffed

Well for those of you who are close to us at the Record office you know that we are currently short staffed by 1/3.
Our longest serving employee of nearly 20 years, Linda Johnston, has had to take some time off for medical reasons.
Being our right hand person, doing a little of everything and a lot of work here, you can imagine that we are missing her dearly.
On Friday one of our bosses from the Fort Frances Times came down to see how we could do things differently so that two instead of three of us could get the paper done and still maintain our sanity.
While some things were identified that will save Anne and I some time, I am sure we will run into unfamiliar territory over the next several weeks as Linda works on getting better.
So if we seem a bit stressed when you see us please be patient.
Also if you come in to do some business and we aren’t quite sure how to get it done the way Linda did, bear with us. If we can’t figure it out someone who can help is likely a phone call away.
Linda is away for medical attention through the week at least the next few weeks. If you wish to send well wishes to her she is staying at Lennox Bell Lodge, 60 Pearl St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 1X2. Unfortunately there is no internet access there. Otherwise she is hoping to come home on weekends.
All of us here at the Record and the Fort Frances Times are praying for a speedy recovery for Linda and want her to know how much we love her and that she is appreciated she is around here. So get better and get your butt back to work Auntie Linda.
