Memorial baskets well received

Beautiful Bloomers

A meeting of the Beautiful Bloomers was held on June 19th at the RR Activity Depot. Seven members were present.
The group is very grateful to all who helped work in the park on June 4th and very pleased with the strong community support of the memorial basket program. Fifteen baskets were purchased in memory of loved ones by Gill Stamler, Jack and Norma Elliott, Vaughn and Melanie Murray, Ev Moen, Jean Heard, Gerry Marchuk, Iris Marquis, Don and Lou Ricci, Jan, Carol and Rose (Race Family), Jan Hughes and Dana Kaliska, Marilyn Jenson, Janet and Frank Wolanicki and Gord and Jeanette Armstrong.
A list of suggestions was compiled to give town council ideas for furthering the beautification of our town.
The next meeting is in August. The date and time will be posted when it is finalized. Everyone interested in town beautification is very welcome to attend.
