Lake levels continue to rise

The level of Lake of the Woods is 322.96 m (1059.6 ft), a 45th percentile level for this time of year. The lake level rose 8 cm (3 in) over the past week and is expected to rise 6 to 10 cm (2 to 4 in) over the next week. Lake of the Woods outflow was increased from 250 to 300 cubic m/s on Wednesday, July 4th.
The level of Lac Seul is 356.31 m (1169.0 ft), a 60th percentile level for this time of year. The lake level rose 24 cm (9 in) over the past week and is expected to rise 15 to 25 cm (6 to 10 in) over the next week. Lac Seul outflow was increased from 240 to 320 cubic m/s on Wednesday, July 4th.
