Press Release
By Jenny Moorman
Do you have old cell phones sitting around gathering dust or cluttering up your junk drawer? You can now put them to a good use by donating them to the Lake of the Woods School Enrichment Program!
By donating your old phones you will:
• Recycle components that are toxic to the environment if simply thrown away
• Give your old cell phone a new life
• Turn trash into cash for the Enrichment Program
You may donate your old cell phones (ANY TYPE) at two convenient locations. Drop them off at the Lake of the Woods School District Office during the day Monday-Thursday, OR, Radio Shack, in downtown Baudette, has also graciously offered to host a drop off point for all old cell phones. Radio Shack is located on Main Avenue in Baudette and is open Monday-Saturday.
Thanks, Radio Shack, for hosting a drop off spot for recycling old cell phones, and thank you to everyone who has brought in an old phone for the Enrichment Program.
