Little Street crossing won’t close this year

Last week CN sectionmen were busy working on the crossing at Little Street.
However, plans to close that crossing were not being implemented. In fact the crossing was being repaired.
Mayor Debbie Ewald said that the crossing will not close until some time next year.
Town Clerk Veldron Vogan explained that the crossing will not be closed until upgrades to Railway Ave. from Little St. to Government Road are made next year.
In the mean time the crossing at Little was in such dire state it had to be repaired, albeit even if it is just for the winter.
