Hospital Aux. planning for Christmas bazaar

By Irene Hanson
RR Hosp. Aux

Our regular meeting had 15 members present, and we opened with all reading the Auxiliary Prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and financial statement given. The Bingo held at the Walleye Tournament was reasonably successful and we will probably do it again next year.
The tickets for our quilt raffle will be out by Saturday. The quilt, donated by the Covenant Church and made by Janice Schaff, is double bed size and beautiful. Also the tickets include a second draw, a Santa greeting stand ornament for outdoors.
The workers for our Christmas Bazaar were organized, with perogies, Christmas pudding, cabbage rolls etc, being available.
The only new business is a Halloween party for the long term residents and the group from the station to be invited to join them. Some of the ladies will be in Halloween costumes.
The final item was a request for a new T.V. for the activity room in the hospital. The committee will look into what is available in the wide screen full range type and we will purchase this.
This concluded our meeting. The next will be on November 5 at the hospital at 1:30. See you all there.
