Riverview girls win bronze at Crossroads tourney

Over this past weekend, our Riverview girl’s volleyball team took part in a 12 team tournament at Crossroads School. Teams from Atikokan to Rainy River were involved in the one day tournament. Our girls were very competitive and ended the round robin second in their pool of six teams. This put them into the bronze medal match against Crossroads. The girls came out on top with a 25 – 23 score. Players included Kailee Jodoin, Jaylene Anderson, Kasey Tesarsky, Kelsey Tesarsky, Shauna Moen, and Kylie Feliccia. This week, the girls will be rounding off their volleyball season with a tournament at Sturgeon Creek on Wednesday, and the Regionals on Saturday in Fort Frances. Good luck girls.
