Bazaar a success!

By Irene Hanson
RR Hosp. Aux.

The Hospital Auxiliary meeting for December was a luncheon catered by the Roadside Restaurant. Eighteen members were present and after Grace we were served a very delicious saoup, croissants and dessert. Thank you girls we enjoyed it.
After lunch, we had a very brief meeting. The highlights of the bazaar was the main discussion. And speaking of highlights, the auxiliary as a group would like to say a very heartfelt “Thank You” to all who came out on his cold and stormy day to support us, to the entertainers, Jackie and Kitty for the Christmas music, the Community Choir and their director Kathy Berggren, John Bodnarchuk, Carol Guindeon, Gill and Ron for they sing along, to all the workers, those who made cabbage rolls, perogies, pies, Christmas pudding and the Business’s and individuals who donated to the penny table and draws.
We are very appreciative of how everyone is there to help us.
To continue, our only old business was planning a party of the residents at the hospital for December 12, a Wednesday.
We will provide the dessert and help.
We had no correspondence and no new business, so the next little while was spent visiting, a reading and enjoyable couple of hours.
Our next meeting is January 7 - 2008 - at the hospital at 1:30.
Again, Thank you everyone, and have a Merry Christmas.
