Reader searching for info. on Hirst family

Dear Editor,
I am from England and trying to find any of my relatives who may still be in Rainy River.
My grandmothers sister emmigrated to Rainy River in the early1900’s with her husband William Hirst. I have found out that William Hirst became Mayor of Rainy River in 1948-1950. They had a son called Milton who married Ida Easton Sept 30 1938. I would be most grateful if you could put me in contact with anyone who may have known William or Milton Hirst or who may be able to help me further to trace my lost family
