Joseph R. (Cha-Chee) Huls, Meunier, 44
On Monday, January 7, 2008 at the Royal Columbia Hospital, New Westminster, B.C., Joseph R.
(Cha-Chee) Huls-Meunier of Surrey B.C. peacefully passed away at the age of 44.
Joe was born on February 6, 1963 and grew up in Rainy River, Ont . He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying snowmobiling, hockey, hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a member of the Canadian Army Reserves. Joe always had a special spot in his heart for family and especially children.
Joe is survived by his friend Desiree Haigh and her four children of Surrey B.C.; his much loved daughter Myriah Huls of Lethbridge Alb; his mother Carol Meunier of Stratton, Ont; and sister Joanne (Robin) McQuaker also of Stratton, Ont.
Joe is also survived by his nephew Jason (Stacey) McQuaker and their children Presley and Annika of Emo, Ont; nieces Janelle (Mike) Gullett and their daughter Grace of Red Deer, Alb, and Julie McQuaker of Lethbridge, Alb; also numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his father Alphonse Meunier.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Rainy River, Ont at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to World Vision # 1 World Drive, Mississauga, Ont, L5T 2Y4. Online condolences may be left at www.northridgefuneralhome.com
