Students hope to raise money through vow of silence

We are at it again! The Brick-by-Brick Committee is planning on having a “Vow of Silence” fund raiser on February, 29th 2008.
This fund raiser educates people here about how children in Sierre Leone, Africa do not have a voice, about how they can do little to change the world around them.
For those of you that may not know, Brick-by-Brick is a non profit origination, to raise $12 000 to build a school in Sierre Leone, Africa. We have raised almost $ 10 000. We hope that the “Vow of Silence” raises awareness and funds, bringing us closer to our goal of $12 000.
This fund raiser works in one of two ways, one way is to pledge students to be quiet for a whole 24 hours, the other way is to be pledged, to stay quiet for a whole day.
