Leap year hockey

On Friday, February 29th at the Lake of the Woods Arena, members of the Lake of the Woods sheriff’s department, ambulance squad, the Baudette police and fire departments, the Birchdale fire department and employees of the Department of Homeland Security will be challenging the Canadian National Railway personnel in a hockey game.
Also, that evening, there will be races for skaters of all ages to see who is the faster skater in the area. Skaters will be divided into various age classifications. Registration will take place on game night, so bring your skates and helmets.
All proceeds going to the Lake of the Woods girls softball teams.
Come celebrate Leap Year and see your favourite stars in action on the ice.
