RRHS curlers win silver

RRHS Mixed Curling Team finished with a silver medal at the NORWOSSA playdowns last week in Fort Frances.
On Monday they played three games handily winning the first two 10-4 and 13-4 over Beaver Brae (Kenora) and Thomas Aquinas (Kenora). The third game they lost to Sioux Lookout 10-7.
On Tuesday Rainy River hammered Atikokan 15-0 and beat Fort Frances 8-2. But because they lost to Sioux Lookout, who was undefeated, they finished second overall and brought home silver.
The RRHS boys team finished third but there was no medals for third. There was no RRHS girls team this year.
