Our Lady of the Way School receives Mum Foundation grant

Our lady of the Way receives grant for swimming lessons from the Please Mum Foundation Fund...Funds for Fun!
Please Mum is a B.C. based company that has been making growing up fun for Canadian children for more than twenty years. The establishment of the Please Mum Foundation Fund allows them to fulfill this role even more directly by funding enjoyable, healthy initiatives for children in communities across Canada.
Their focus is quite broad in order to encourage creativity in providing extra-curricular activities to children who would not normally participate in them. Schools whose populations contain a significant number of students with families in financial need are a priority to the Please Mum Foundation Fund.
Through elementary schools, the Please Mum Foundation Fund help children, kindergarten through grade seven, participate in healthy, extra-curricular activities. Our Lady of the Way received a grant from the Please Mum Foundation to offset the cost of bussing for their swimming lessons. The JK-3 students would travel once a week to Fort Frances for water safety and swimming lessons.
