Alzheimer Walk for Memories is May 24th

The Rainy River Alzheimer Walk For Memories is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th.
Kenora/Rainy River Alzheimer Society Executive Director Margaret Schoenville has sent sponsor sheets to the Rainy River Record office for anyone wishing to pick one up and participate.
As in previous years there will be a t-shirt for all who participate and a prize for the walker with the most pledges.
Registration will be at the Rainy River Legion at 10:30 a.m. on the 24th. Weather permitting the route for the walk will be around the community.
Schoenville is looking for someone to help coordinate the event after long time coordinator Linda Johnston passed away last year. “No one has come forward yet but I am hopeful we can find someone.”
