A butterfly garden will be established for students to witness metamorphosis right in their classroom and observe the delicate balance and beauty of nature. Pond studies will take place allowing students to experience nature, hands-on. Field trips will have a strong environmental focus and will include exploring the concept of carbon foot printing, the reduction of emissions and the role of trees in offsetting emission.
