Spring clean up set for May 13th

With winter over for another year (we hope!) it’s time for the Annual Pitch in and Cleanup in Rainy River. Spearheaded by the Beautiful Bloomers committee of the Town, volunteers are asked to please do their part to help tidy up the Town.
“We have targeted Tuesday, May 13 for a community effort to tidy up,” stated Jeanette Armstrong, a driving force on the Beautiful Bloomers. Rain Day will be either Wed, May 14 or Tues, May 20.
Volunteers are asked to set aside a few hours that afternoon to pitch in. Either gather at Hannam Park at 3:30 in the afternoon for a bee there or take a pail and pick up the trash along your street.
Either way be sure to gather at Hannam Park for a treat from the Beautiful Bloomers- hot dogs and refreshments at 6:00 pm following the Pitch In. A little pride, and a bit of collective elbow grease goes a long way towards keeping our town a great place to live.
The Beautiful Bloomers have a host of other projects scheduled for this year. Stay tuned.
