McInnes Creek clean up planned

Board members from McInnes Creek Chapel assembled on Friday May 2nd to prepare for the Yard Sale and Auction the following day. The group had a wonderful time unpacking and displaying the many donated items from local residents. The little Chapel was abuzz with activity as the tables were loaded for show.
Auctioneer, Mark Douglas, lifted most auction items with ease; until it came to the new oversize wheelbarrow, which brought the highest amount. Eager bidders braved the cold wind but warmed with enjoyment of the event. The food booth was bustling with activity as buyers congregated for light conversation following the auction. A great time was had by all participants, which could not have been accomplished without the generous support of all sale contributors.
McInnes Creek Chapel has always been wholeheartedly supported by the local community who have friends and loved ones there. The Chapel Board could not accomplish all they do without your assistance, so thank you to one and all!
On Monday the board members again congregated for the tidying up and planning of the Annual Cleanup Day. Thurs. May 22nd everyone will come prepared with necessary yard tools, followed by a BBQ and meeting. See you there!
