Police charge five in Fort Frances drug raid

(Fort Frances, Ontario) On May 30, 2008 officers from the Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit, assisted by members of the Fort Frances OPP Detachment, the Tri-Force Drug Enforcement Section and the K-9 Unit executed a warrant to search a Second Street East residence in Fort Frances.
The Fort Frances OPP Crime Unit has investigated allegations of drug trafficking occurring from 1022 Second Street E. The warrant was executed and five people have been charged as a result of the investigation. The subsequent search of the residence resulted in the seizure of approximately $15,000 of cocaine and a variety of pharmaceuticals. Also seized was over $5000 in cash as proceeds of drug sales.
Carolyn Fedorak, age 58 of Fort Frances, was charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code. She was remanded into custody and will appear in court on June 2, 2008.
Priscilla Ballard, age 40 of Fort Frances, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Breach of Probation contrary to the Criminal Code. She was remanded into custody and will appear in court on June 2, 2008.
Joseph Fedorak, age 24 of Fort Frances, was charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to the Criminal Code. He was remanded into custody and will appear in court on June 2, 2008.
David Marsh, age 42, of Alberton Township was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act. He was released from custody and will appear in court on July 14th.
Jason S Allan, age 35 of Sixth St. Fort Frances, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. He was also released and will appear in court on July 14th.
