Busy summer planned at the Recreation Centre

The Rainy River Recreation Centre is going to be and busy place this summer with many activities and events already planned.
It is hoped that many of you will come out and join in! July is quickly passing by and here are some of the up coming events.
Why should adults to look forward to Mondays? How about joining the new adult soccer league! It happens every Monday, so remember to sign up at the Rec. Centre.
A newly started a walk/jog club on Tuesday’s is already being enjoyed by folks so come out and participate. It’s a great way to hang out with some new people and get some exercise at the same time.
Beginning this Wednesday a Teen Sport Drop In will run and it will go on until the end of August. All teens are encouraged to come out and join the fun.
Start fine-tuning that bike of yours for Thursday’s because the Rec. Centre has a new Bike Club.
There is a full slate of ball teams (ten) for Railroad Daze so come on out and cheer for your favourite team, have a beverage and something good to eat on July 18-20. To help make the tournament a success the Rec. Board is still looking for volunteers to work at the ball tournament beer gardens. Please call 852-4446 to find out what shifts are available.
