Take a kid golfing for free all this week

News Release
SCGC

Spruce Creek Golf Course will offer free golf to kids under the age of sixteen who are accompanied by a paying adult during the Take A Kid to the Course Week program taking place July 7-13, 2008.
Developed by the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada to encourage families and juniors to take up the game of golf, this cross-Canada campaign is designed to illustrate how easy it is to improve both your score and your relationship with your children by bringing them out to the golf course.
Please call the course at 488-9706 to book your tee times in advance. A full listing of over 600 Canadian participating courses and programs offered is available at HYPERLINK “http://www.kidsgolffree.ca” www.kidsgolffree.ca.
Golf provides kids with valuable life skills, such as perseverance, patience, and respect. They will enjoy quality time with family and friends and experience an activity that takes them away from the computer and into the great outdoors.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has generously donated the Grand Prize consisting of a trip for four to a participating Fairmont Hotel. The winning family will enjoy a 2-night stay in a Deluxe Room including breakfast and a round of golf. Visit HYPERLINK “http://www.kidsgolffree.ca” www.kidsgolffree.ca for further details or to enter the contest before July 13th, 2008. The winner will be drawn in late July.
Spruce Creek is a 9 hole, family friendly golf facility located on Hwy 619 just 40km north of Sleeman on Hwy 621. For more information on the golf course, visit our website at www.sprucecreekgolfcourse.com
