It is pretty hard to respond to an emergency if no one informs you of it

Dear Ken,
In response to the July 9th edition of Ken’s Korner.
I sympathize with all the homeowners that got hit by mother nature again. But I can’t agree with you on blaming the town crew for not responding quickly enough. It’s pretty hard to respond to an emergency if no one informs you until after the fact, it’s up to town landowners to inform the town that they are having a problem.
My question to you Ken, “Where were you at the hours between 5:30 a.m and 7:00 a.m. on the Fri. of July 5th?” Probably still in bed, just like the rest of the world at 5:30 in the morning?
