Choir sets Christmas concert dates

The Rainy River Community Choir is just about ready to deliver their annual Christmas Concert performances for all to enjoy!
After months of practising, about 30 members of the choir, hailing from Rainy River, Baudette and Morson areas, are going to sing their hearts out for the public December 7th and 8th.
On Sunday, Dec. 7th, they will be performing at the Pinewood Catholic Church and on the following day they will perform at the Rainy River Catholic Church. Both evenings the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

This year they will perform secular and sacred Christmas music and in some numbers flutist Kitty Gale and pianist Jacquie Dufresne will accompany vocalists. They will also play some musical pieces on their own to entertain everyone.

Kathi Berggren, a music teacher from Baudette, is directing the choir again this year and if last year was any indicator, this year’s show will excellent!
