Kids Easter egg hunt is Saturday

Hippity hop on down to Rainy River this Saturday for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Rainy River Community Centre.
Activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m. Kids from 0-6 will be participating in games on the main floor of the centre. 7 and older will be participating activities upstairs, with activities geared to their age including a Happy Easter scramble.
At 11:30 a.m. the younger group will go outside to hunt for eggs. They bring them back and receive a prize.
At the same time the older kids can play Easter bingo for prizes.
At 12 noon the older kids will get to participate in a egg hunt in the basement of the centre. They will be in groups of four, given a flashlight, and a time frame to retrieve as many eggs as possible in that time. They will then get prizes for what they return.
The Toy Library and Public Libraries will also be hosting crafts and face painting during the day at the centre.
There will also be free public skating; the last one of the year! It will begin at 12:30 and run for an hour.
The cost for the egg hunt is $2 and people are encouraged to preregister at Riverview School, the Toy Library or the Rainy River Public Library.
