Hansen wins NWOSSA gold!

On April 22nd the High School NWOSSA badminton championships were held in Thunder Bay, ON.
The OWLS senior mixed team, Catherine Whetzel and Jordan Hansen, played very close matches against some tough competition. They finished with 3 wins and 2 losses to place 3rd. Losing only to the first and second place teams.
Courtney Hansen also played 5 excellent matches and in the end, won the NWOSSA Junior Girls Singles Title. She went undefeated throughout the whole tournament finishing with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses.
Unfortunately junior level players do not advance to the All Ontarios.
