RRHS to host NORWOSSA soccer qualifiers for the first time

Looking for some great sports to watch? Well Rainy River High School has a treat for you this Thursday and Friday.
Last year the school hosted NORWOSSA soccer playoffs for the first time ever. This year they are doing another first; they are hosting two days of NORWOSSA qualifier games.
Red Lake and Sioux Lookout will be travelling to Rainy River and both boys and girls teams will be playing each other twice in two days.
The games begin at 12 p.m. on Thursday and run until 7:30 p.m. On Friday they begin at 9:30 a.m. and run most of the day.
RRHS will then travel to Kenora in mid-May to play in more qualifiers. NORWOSSA playoffs will be in Sioux Lookout May 22-23.
The public is welcome to come out and watch this Thursday and Friday free of charge! There will be a concession stand and bleachers set up.
Organizer Rebecca Tolen is looking for volunteers to help work in the concession. Call RRHS at 852-3284 to sign up.
