If you are looking for work, or wanting to upgrade your skills through training, Northern Community Development Services can help. NCDS has employment related workshops for people of all ages and programs to meet your needs.
NCDS is a ‘one stop employment shop,’ that has;

Job Placements / Wage Subsidies And much more!
NCDS has a full service satellite office operating in Rainy River, making services more accessible to job seekers in the western part of the District.

The office is newly located in the back of the Rainy River Library at 334 Fourth Street. Career Advisors/Case Managers are available from 10am to 3pm every Tuesday to provide employment counselling and assist with job search. No appointment is necessary for clients wanting to check available job postings, work on a resume, job search online, or take advantage of the many more walk in services available.

In addition to job search assistance, NCDS also does job placements and has wage subsidy programs geared towards youths, students, and adults. They provide help with applying to Employment Ontario programs such as; Second Career, Skills Development, and Self Employment Benefit.
