Railroad Daze just around the corner

The Rainy River Recreation Board’s annual Railroad Daze celebration is just around the corner. Plans are in the works for this big community festival. Posters have been distributed, If I have missed anyone as far as hosting events or activities please call me so I can put it in the final ad in the paper.
It will be a very busy weekend. Volunteers are needed to help run a three on three basketball tournament being held on Main Street and to work at other various activities. If you have a few hours to spare and you don’t mind volunteering your time, give me a call at 852-4446. In order to make this a successful community event, community involvement is a must, whether it would be 1 hour of 5 hours it all molds into a fun weekend for all.
At the moment I have 17 teams for our Railroad Daze Ball Tournament - I am hoping for 24 teams so if your interested in putting a team in call the Rec Centre to register. The cost is $200.00 plus a ball.
On July 9 we will be starting with our children’s summer program. Please watch for posters and ads on this program.
