Many towns benefit from recreation funds

QUEEN’S PARK – Kenora—Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton is pleased more than $8-million in recreation infrastructure investment will be flowing into Kenora-Rainy River.
The money comes from the Recreation Infrastructure Canada and Ontario Recreation programs. More than 30 per cent of the funding going into Northern Ontario will be invested in Kenora—Rainy River
“It is great to see money flowing for recreational upgrades across our riding,” said Hampton.
“These investments improve the quality of life in our communities and benefit all residents. I’m very pleased to be announcing something that will help so many.”
Funded projects to date include:
