Riverview runners finish strong in Thunder Bay

This past weekend six runners from Riverview took part in the Mid Canada Elementary Cross Country Run in Thunder Bay.
With runners coming from all over Northwestern Ontario, over 330 runners participated.
Although there was snow on the ground, that didn’t prevent the participants from putting forth their best effort.
Results were as follows for the 3 km run: In the girl’s division, out of 153 runners, Hayley Arpin came in 17th (time 14:14), Elizabeth Fraser 4th (time 12:52), and Skylar Arpin took home the gold medal with a time of 12:27.
In the boy’s division, out of 182 runners, Aaron Short came in 107th (time 15:25), Jackson Arpin 99th (time 15:03), and Nolan Short came in 9th place with a time of 12:26.
