Thirteen 'Shiver on the River'!

The second annual Shiver on the River 5K run saw its participation levels double this past Monday.
Thirteen souls braved the elements and ran the 5km course which was mostly on the frozen Rainy River.
Here are the complete results and times:
1st overall male: Bryan Hasbargen, 15, of Baudette with a time of 22:20.
1st overall female: Victoria Alexander, 14, of Atikokan, with a time of 23:08.
10 and Under
1st: Rebekah Fraser, 8, Rainy River, 36:36
2nd: Trinity Rushton, 9, Winnipeg, no time registered.
11-13
1st: Elizabeth Fraser, 11, RR, 28:05.
14-18 Male
1st: Bryan Hasbargen, 15, Baud., 22:20.
2nd-Grant Erickson, 16, Indus, 22:57.
3rd: Dyson Dahl, 15, Baud., 26:39.
14-18 Female
1st: Victoria Alexander, 14, Atikokan, 23:08
2nd: Tied, Emily and Saragh Fraser, RR., 27:21.
19 and up
1st: Sariina Kalli, 39, Baud., 28:31.
2nd: Meghan Shanks, 23, RR, 30:15.
3rd: Tiffany Rittan, 29, Devlin, 30:33.
4th: Rebecca Tolen, 33, RR, 37:40.
Organizer Jeff Fraser was very pleased with the turnout this year and hopes that it can be even larger next year.
