Body recovered on Lake of the Woods

The body of 68 year old Fred Bisel of Eagle Bend Minnesota was recovered Sunday afternoon in the area of Goose Neck Narrows on Lake of the Woods.
On 21 March 2010 Bisel was operating his snow machine on Lake of the Woods when he went through the ice; due to poor conditions an immediate search was not possible. Since the incident police including the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit and family members have been searching the area. The body was located and recovered Sunday afternoon in the general area where he went through the ice.
