Relay for Life needs food and beverage donations

Rainy River is very Honoured to be Hosting their First Relay for Life Event, on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Riverview School yard.
As with every Event there will be a need to feed the masses.
First, The Survivors Supper , where approximately 100 people, survivors and companions will be served a delicious Roast Beef Dinner with all the trimmings., in celebration!!
Throughout the night while the relayers are walking, running or, strolling around the oval there will be food / beverages made available to them under the Big Top!
A number of items have already been generously donated but we are still looking to acquire more. We have set up a Food Hamper at Beaver Mills if you feel that you would like to donate an item on our wish list (which will be posted by the Hamper) or make a monetary donation (giving the money to one of the Beaver Mills staff) so we are able to purchase the items we need. Any monetary amount is appreciated ( $2:00 - $5:00,.. etc) but if you do donate over $20:00 a Receipt can be given to you.
The following is our wish list for Food/Beverages;
This is the total amount that we will need for the Survivors Supper and food for the walkers during the night;

28 lbs of Hamburger (in total )
28 cans of Manwich
Potato Chips
8 lbs of carrots
2 -- 2 kgs bags of frozen peas
3 large heads of cabbage
3 green peppers
3 red peppers
A few green onions
4 lbs of butter
1 large miracle whip
Water bottles
Juice
1 gallon of milk
White sugar
Paper plates
Styrofoam cups
Napkins
Plastic cultery
